The present book evaluates tenets of Gandhian philosophy in relation to contemporary social realities. Globalised scenario has made impact and caused multifaceted effect on Indian social fabric. After over six decades of independence, the Indian socio-political scene and economic realities have undergone a lot of change, but one aspect which has remained unchanged is the utility and relevance of Gandhian philosophy, thought and ideas.
